Date: 11 October 2018
Inclusive Design 24 (#id24) is a free 24-hour online event for the global community, taking place this year on 11 October. It celebrates inclusive design and shares knowledge and ideas from analogue to digital, from design to development, from planners to practitioners, and everything and everyone in between.
This year, Intopia is a partner for the event, a role we’re proud to accept. In addition, our Director of Accessibility Services and Co-founder Sarah Pulis (who has previously presented at #id24) will co-present with our Senior Digital Accessibility Consultant Andrew Arch (this is Andrew’s third appearance at #id24, his first for Intopia).
Sarah and Andrew will be speaking on “Using cognitive walkthroughs to better review designs for accessibility”.
The format of Inclusive Design 24 is simple: 24 talks in 24 hours delivered by presenters around the world in their own time zones, the whole thing live streamed via YouTube.
In the five incarnations since 2014, the roll call of presenters is a veritable Who’s Who of accessibility and inclusive design. Increasingly, mainstream web professionals are also participating to show their commitment to inclusive design and accessibility.
