For the first time, Intopia has an event stand at Web Directions Summit.
In the spirit of going beyond WCAG, we have people with lived experience of access needs at our event stand all through the conference. Plus, you can catch Intopia’s accessibility and inclusive design experts and pick our brains too.
Book in a session with people with access needs
Visit us at our stand to book in a 15-minute session to chat with a person with access needs and learn about their experiences navigating the digital world.
We have a range of people you can talk to across the 2 days, including people who are blind, have limited vision, are neurodivergent, have difficult with movement, and more.
You can ask them questions about what makes an experience work for them, the technologies they use and practical tips on improving the accessibility and user experience of our own digital products.
Sessions will run at the following times throughout the 2 days of the conference. Swing by our stall as early as you can on Thursday to secure your time as places are limited and will book out quickly!

Presentations at Web Directions Summit
Four of our team will be presenting at this year’s Summit!
Claire Webber and Sam Hobson will be presenting on Annotating Designs for Accessibility at 3.10pm on Thursday 26 October, informing designers on the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of annotating for accessibility.
Julie Grundy and Zoë Haughton will also be presenting at 2.35pm AEDT on Friday 27 October on the newly finalised WCAG 2.2 and What it Means for Designers.
