Intopia is on a mission to create an inclusive digital world through accessibility and equitable design.
As a social enterprise, giving back to the community has been Intopia’s purpose from the very beginning. We’re a certified B-Corporation, a 2025 Good Company and a member of the Pledge 1% movement, demonstrating our commitment to making a difference. We invest our time, expertise and resources into initiatives that reflect our values.
Our impact is grounded in three pillars: Community, People, and Planet.
Intopia’s 2025 Financial Year Impact

Community
For as long as Intopia has existed, we have given back to the community. We support and donate to organisations that share our vision of a more inclusive world. Since our launch, we’ve directly donated over $900,000 AUD to more than 25 organisations.
We strive to create an inclusive digital world where everyone can engage, contribute, and lead without barriers.
Our Community Impact in FY25
- Shared our profits by contributing over 20% to social impact initiatives and charities. This includes at least 15% in direct donations and 5% through pro bono work and discounts.
- Supported our community by donating to 7 organisations, with a focus on the disability community.
- Shared our knowledge by releasing 20+ free articles, resources, and webinars.
- Built accessibility awareness by speaking at 10+ events and hosting 30+ free Lunch and Learns.
- Supported not-for-profits and purpose-led organisations by providing pro-bono and discounted support for 18 projects.
- Funded community events by providing significant financial and people support to A11y Bytes, A11y Camp, and various accessibility meetups.
People
At Intopia, we care deeply about our team’s well-being and growth. We go above and beyond to nurture our people, ensuring they are supported and thriving. We’re a remote-first company, reducing commuting time and supporting individual needs.
We are also committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects the society we live in. We’re proud to have a team from many cultures, sexualities, ages, abilities, ages and genders.
Our goal is a thriving, diverse and inclusive workforce where everyone feel valued, supported, and can grow personally and professionally.
Our People Impact in FY25
- Reflected the diverse society we’re a part of with approximately 30% of our team identifying as neurodivergent or as a person with a disability.
- Championed gender equality with 69% of our team being women or gender diverse, and 50% of our leadership team being women.
- Supported our team’s growth through 2,600 hours of paid Professional Development time.
- Gave our team the opportunity to give back through our paid volunteering program, where our team volunteered with 5 organisations.
- Fostered pride in our workplace with 100% of our team saying they are proud to work for Intopia (anonymous company-wide survey).
Planet
Reducing our environmental impact is an area we want to do better. Although we haven’t had any dedicated activities in FY25, our remote-first company model allows us to have a lower carbon footprint. A 2023 study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found that fully remote workers (that’s us!) could have a 54% lower carbon footprint compared to onsite workers. We know there’s more to do and we’ll continue to improve our initiatives each year.
Looking ahead
Our impact is not measured only in numbers, but in the communities strengthened and the people empowered along the way. We remain committed to creating a digital world where everyone can engage, contribute, and lead without barriers.
Together with our customers, partners, and community, we are proud of what we’ve achieved and excited for the impact still to come.
What our communities and people are saying
“I found your [lunch and learn] presentation with its real life examples was moving and very effective at conveying not only the diversity of digital accessibility needs but also the real impact it can have on people.”
– Large bank
“I love your Accessibility Not-Check List; it is absolutely brilliant. It’s a great way to ensure your content meet the latest accessibility requirements and best practices”
– Mario, Content & UX Professional
“The flexibility to work from home makes a huge difference to me as a neurodivergent employee. Offices are a sensory and focus nightmare, so I’m grateful to not have to navigate that. It means I can put more time and energy into what actually matters.”
– Tess, Digital Accessibility Consultant, Intopia
