Meet the speakers:
Meryl Evans, CPACC, is a professional speaker, trainer, author, and consultant in disability inclusion, inclusive marketing, and accessibility who was born profoundly deaf. She is a highly regarded speaker on disabilities and accessibility who has spoken at TEDx, SXSW, and many other events. Meryl has authored and appeared in multiple books, The Wall Street Journal, Morning Brew, AdWeek, AdAge, and The Dallas Morning News. Meryl is a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies and LinkedIn Top Voice.
Gerry Neustatl is lead Accessibility Specialist at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. His team guides the inclusive design and accessibility of products and content for some of our most loved and trusted media brands, like ABC NEWS, ABC listen, ABC iview and triple j, on web, mobile apps and digital television platforms. He is learning to play guitar but isn’t very good yet.
Priya Addams Williams is the Shift 20 Initiative Lead at the Dylan Alcott Foundation. Prior to joining the DAF, she spent nearly a decade working at creative agencies including Special Group and Cummins&Partners, on some of Australia’s biggest brands including ANZ, Netflix, Virgin Australia and Australian Red Cross Lifeblood. She is passionate about closing the representation gap for people with disability, to ensure that the nearly 20% of Australians with disability see themselves represented in advertising campaigns.
